Lyrics

BE THE ONE!
"Why are we here? We're here for a reason. We are not gonna disappear, not even for a season. This is where I live my life, to be the one who stands and fights for the right to keep on breathing', anything else would be treason. We can't go back now I'm not giving up on what needs to be established, not for any reason. Religion is the way for me, gave me strength and set me free, gave me Truth and dignity, I was blind but now I see, Devine Knowledge is the key, the eternal proposition, the Most Merciful Admonition, helped me change my situation, the Devine Navigation, guide me to the destination. Be the one who helps those in need and waiting to be freed. My freedom is not for me, but for the liberation of humanity. Be the one who fosters unity, with the best of Afrcian ancestry, the Truth that they hide from you and me. The time has come for all the men, to stand up and comprehend, that Truth needs us to hold her up and be her trusted friend. This is not what has been. We have seen it time and time again, a Truth that never happened. The world has come to a time and place where justice needs a space to shout out loud and draw a crowd from every creed and race. Where justice is not uncommon, but a natural phenomenon. The Human Life is One, we all share the same Sun. Let Thy Kingdom come, before my life is done. Be among the ones who claim our inherent dignity, for the life in you and me. Be among the ones who embrace the science of Humanity, under Devine Authority, The One Who Created you and me, in His Hand is the Destiny. Religion is the interface from Creator to the Human Race, the Truth upon which my life is based, each day I come to face to face, from which I must not deviate. We've come thus far, to an awareness of who we really are. That peculiar path has taken us from what we were, to what we are to become. Stay the course, don't be distracted, that is what must be done. We are a new people upon the face of the Earth, Cosmos Child of the universe. When the first will be last and last will be first, African Americans from a slavery birth. I have an obligation to the ones coming after me, to pursue authenticity, the one that's really truly me, under Devine Authority the One Who made me to be free. This life that we perceive, an imperceptible blip on the time-line of eternity, is nothing less than a blessing for you and me. Be the one to stay strong, be the one to keep the faith, staying prayed up, keeping on keeping on. If we don't have G'd in our life, we've got nothing to hold on. And let's not forget, we have the Criterion. We have a message that we can depend on, and determine right from wrong. Be the one to say, "I'm sorry." Be the one to say, "I was wrong." Our sojourn continues in this society, keep the ties of family strong!"
